Spring Break 2012

I don't really have a reason to celebrate Spring Break anymore these days, since I've been out of school for quite some time... But, my mom works for the school and so it's her vacation.  And of course, she comes to California-who wouldn't?? So her and my sister Brittney are here now and we are making the most of the California living and doing fun beach days and eating lost of yummy food!  I'm proud to say that we are even working out every morning before our outings on the town to make up for all the calories we are putting right back one at dinner time...
Last weekend as a family, August, the boys and I hiked a switchback trail around Lake Poway.  It was a beautiful day (that actually got quite warm) and we hiked, sat at the park and had a picnic and then relaxed at home.  Yesterday when my mom and sister came, we drove up to San Clemente and did some shopping.  Today we went to La Jolla to Kellogg Beach and let Reed and Brielle play at the park all day. Reed got his feet in the ocean as well, and he loved it!  I swear, he's going to be a surfer.  He LOVES the water and wants to let go of my hand and just dive right into the waves.  He gets so mad that I won't let go of his hand...  The loved the park today- and we loved eating at Fred's Mexican Grill afterwards.  Tomorrow we are going to the Park at Del Mar Beach and Saturday will be filled with Tempestt's baby shower in El Cajon!  Then, August is off to CUBA!  And I to Arizona...
