Hanging out with my boys in CA

The day we came back to CA last Friday, Ridge accidentally got burned from my mom's straightener.  She was kissing him goodbye and didn't realize the straightener in her hand was resting on his poor little foot!  So sad!  So for the last couple days, we'e been dressing it with burn cream and it seems to be healing fine.  Ever since Ridge got sick a few weeks ago, he doesn't drink as much formula.  He use to always drink 6 oz every feeding, but now it's more like 4 oz.  He's way more gassy and feeding him is a chore.  He arches his back, has a fit and refuses to eat.  H doesn't sleep well either...I don't know what I'm going to do.  He's 3 months tomorrow and you would think the colic would have started earlier and ended by now.  At least that how it was with Reed...
Anyways, so we are back in California and had the best weekend/reunion after not seeing August for two weeks.  He had to go to Chicago and Hawaii for work...must be nice! Haha-I told him next time he goes to Hawaii-I'm going with!  I look forward to weekends not to spend all Saturday hanging out with my three favorite boys!  Last Saturday we went to ride the train again in downtown Poway, went shopping (I got some new running shoes), and ate some Jamba Juice.  Last night for Family Home Evening we went to the movies!  We have never taken Reed to the movie theater yet and he did pretty good!  He sat through the entire movie, Dr. Suesse's The Lorax.  Ridge was a little fussy at times, so I stood in the back and rocked him to sleep.  Reed loved getting spoiled by eating his own bag of popcorn and finishing off my Coke.  It was a great night.  I love my little family.

Oh and I got a new calling in the Lake Poway Ward...Personal Progress Coordinator for the Relief Society!  Not an official/real calling, they made it up.  I gave my testimony the first week I was there about how I was PP Coordinator for the YW in my Hawes Ward and they decided to make me it for the RS and get the women who never finished their book and got their medallions as kids.  Let's hope I can be an example and help these women...
