This weekend we spent our Friday/Saturday at Old Poway Park (the train station) and La Jolla Beach. We just made it to the beach before sunset to let Reed play at Kellog park. We went to Sushi that night in La Jolla and saw the San Diego Temple. Yesterday we went and rode the train and ate at Hamburger Factory. The fried zucchini was excellent! My mom would like it, taste like Alpine's Wallow Bear Cafe's, but better! Reed was too cute when it came to getting on the train. He held those tickets like they were a prized possession! He loved handing the guy his ticket to get punched so that he could take a ride. The train goes around the park twice. Once it was over, Reed had a crying fit because he wanted to go again. So this time, I went with him and he handed the guy his ticket again to get punched. He said, "Here!" The man told us it wasn't necessary to punch the tickets again, but Reed insisted. So he punched them anyway. It was cute! I wonder if he wanted his ticket punched so bad because it reminded him of The Polar Express movie and that he knew to ride the train, your ticket had to be punched? We also walked around the little boutique shops downtown and I got myself a cute old fashion rose chalkboard frame. We stopped in the back of the shops to take a quick shot of Reed and I-there were so many colored walls it was hard to chose just one! There will definitely be future photo sessions in downtown. Reminds me of downtown Gilbert... Today we went to our new ward (Lake Poway Ward) and it was Reed's second time at this nursery. He loves it! The second we get to church, he tries to drag us in there to go play...he can hardly make it through Sacrament because he's so anxious to be in nursery. He grabbed his own chair today and sat right down waiting patiently for the puzzles. I love my boys!
Ridge almost 2 months, Reed almost 20 months
