Tonight I went back to mutual-yes, I got called into Young Women's as the Personal Progress Coordinator. Tonight we played Cash Cab and ate ice cream. Fun, but I don't like the idea of having to attend mutual EVERY Wednesday night with a bunch of immature teenagers...I apologize. I am going to change my attitude and enjoy it and hope to be a good example/roll model to these kids. Most, if not all, are taller than me, so they might not "look up" to me...ha-I'm so funny...anyways...August is the babysitter for Wednesday nights now and I got a text at 8:03 pm-"Come home, I need help-he is hysterical!" I didn't look at my phone til 8:30 pm when mutual was over and came home to what I thought would be a screaming baby- he was until I walked in-then he was ALL SMILES! Ah, Reed missed me! :) Better luck next week babe.
While I was gone, August pointed out that Reed now opens the cabinet doors in the kitchen-Apparently I need to get childproof locks. He climbed up the side of the couch like a monkey with his hands and toes, but did not quite make it all the way up-he was reaching for the remote of course. He screams and is REALLY loud lately. He's just having fun. I let him have a sip of apple juice tonight and when I took it away he had a screaming fit until I gave it back-he was spilling it so I put it in a sippie cup and he downed that thing in minutes. Reed spins in his Johnny Jump Up, rarely jumps. I love when he crawls around with his socks in his hands for hours-he loves holding his socks everywhere he goes, rather than wearing them. I love his stink face right now; it's his new smile. And the snorting like a pig is hilarious! So that's Reed in a nut shell the last few days-I swear he is so smart. He does something new every day!
