Sunday Night (June 15)

Ok sorry we haven’t been on lately. We have either had really long nights (the sun goes down at 10:30pm and we end up staying up till 1or 2 thinking it’s like 8) or no internet service available, which has been a huge problem lately... Bare with us, it will be updating almost a week behind...

Sunday Night (June 15) after church, we ate dinner at Los Matillas house. These were church members Jason really looked up to and called them Ma and Pa. The mom was my height!

K- bathroom troubles again for me- I can never find the dang handles to flush! I was freaking out at their house- guess where the flusher was? Hanging from the ceiling in the shower! Weird…Can you find it in the pic? In the airports it was on the wall… in the ship they are on top of the toilet bowl…man- it takes me forever to figure out where to flush these things…

Later that night, we went to a lighted fountain show called Las Fuentes de Monjuic. The huge fountains lit up to music (mostly Disney songs- ha!). They love American songs- that’s all they listen to and Techno- and all the words are in English! Behind the fountains was this huge Palace that we walked up the stairs to see the entire city of Barcelona. It was beautiful. Jason said the Queen of Espana (Spain) lives there when she visits Barcelona. Her home is in Madrid.

This was a cool building- it changes a different color every night in different patterns. Sometimes it would be green, red, blue, yellow…
