Ridge at 4, 5 now almost 6 months!

I am SO behind on posting that I forgot all about posting Ridge's 4 month stats.  Now that he's almost 6 months, let's recap...

Weight~ 13 lbs. 9 oz (20%)

Height~ 24 3/4 in (40%)

Head Circ. 15 3/4 (8%)

He is a little guy.  The doctor told us he just "plateaued" for a little bit and hasn't grown much since his last appointment.  Let's hope he grows soon.  I don't want him taking after me and being little!  Poor kid.  We gave Ridge baby rice cereal (oatmeal) for the first time on April 20=about 4 1/2 months old.  He did not like it...I think he just doesn't get the hang of swallowing yet.  I've tried a couple times since, and he still struggles.  At 5 1/2 months now, I tried peas the other night.  He liked them, he just doesn't swallow well and spits it all out.  We'll keep practicing.  

 You like how Reed's picture right behind Ridge, they are wearing the same outfit?  Except Reed was only about 2 months old, Ridge at 4 months.

Ridge loves Reed!  He loves to just stare at him all day.  I love that they make each other laugh now and just smile all day.  They even fight sometimes over toys-Ridge will get a hold of Reed's trains and stick them into his mouth and Reed will yell, "No Ridge!"  It's so funny.  Reed will take it away and Ridge will either just laugh at him or sometimes cry and want it back.  Ridge has definitely got a personality and a big temper!  He knows what he wants and doesn't want and will let you know!  He's pretty easy to read that way and therefor makes him an easy baby for the most part.  At five months he started sitting up on his own.  He is also starting to try to crawl.  He will get up on his knees (feet sometimes) and dive forward.  He'll scoot all the way across the room like that.  He loves to walk backward in the walker.  He loves to play with red Solo cups (just like Reed did at that age).  He's eating 8 oz bottles 4 times a day (every 3-4 hours) and sleeps through the night.  Usually from 9pm-6:30-7 am.  When he eats he has a bad habit of pulling out his own hair.  He loves to laugh and smile all the time.  He is REALLY ticklish.  He sleeps on his stomach-always!  He loves to have his back rubbed while he's trying to fall asleep.  He is just the cutest little thing!  Keeping up with his brother, that's for sure!  He gets crazy hyper sometimes too-shakes and is such a constant wiggle worm!
