This year was a little different. August got laid off of StoneCreek I think the end of September and then got hired with Serco in San Diego a couple weeks later. He started working right away and was living out of a hotel for a while. All the meanwhile, I was still back Mesa with Reed. August was tired of living in the hotel and eating fast food every meal and really wanted to get into a house somewhere near his work. So my mom, Reed and I made the trip to San Diego Halloween weekend to house hunt. My wonderful cousin, Tempestt, was kind enough to open her house to us and let us crash on her couch the entire weekend. We went trick or treating for Reed in her town (El Cajon), her ward trunk or treat and to a party at some people's house in their ward. We did a family theme of "candy" this year. Reed should have been a little tootsie roll but I found this smarties costume instead at Goodwill for cheap! It fits him though, being a little smartie pants.
