Baby Stay In!

So I have had two scares now with this baby...
First one was when I went in for my 37 week check and baby wasn't moving-there was a heartbeat, but on the ultrasound, baby was moving very slowly.  So I went into the hospital to get a stress test.  They said baby was perfect, just sleeping.
Today I woke up with bad cramps-almost like menstral cramping/dull ache in my lower abdomen all day and it never subsided... I also felt a couple really big contractions (my entire belly blew up and went into a really tight hard ball for like 60 seconds). So I decided to get checked out (even though I only have five more days left! Can you believe it??).  Once I got to the hospital tonight (38 weeks now) they hooked me up to the machines and watched my progress on the monitors.  It showed mostly cramping and a couple small contractions.  They gave me an IV of fluids (I'm dehydrated) and a shot of terbulatine (a drug to stop labor).  That shot didn't work... I am still cramping but it's not enough contractions to keep me in the hospital, at least for now...  So here I am back at my parents tonight, sitting here at almost midnight hoping and praying this little guy will stay in a few more days.  At least til August gets here-he's in California right now and I want him to be here for the birth.  So I will try to just take it easy this weekend, relax and hopefully last til Monday- that's when I can call my doctor and make sure I can hold out til Wednesday.  My doctor is not on call this weekend and I really want him to be the one to do the c-section, not his on call doc.  But, I won't be dumb, and if I feel any worse, I will definitely go back to the hospital and they will more than likely take him out.  So wish me luck that he stays in all weekend :)
As for now, I will just sit here in somewhat active labor and ride it out til I can't stand it anymore!
