Today was the day I had to drink the dreaded, nasty Glucose Orange Crap! The drink they make you gulp down in ten min an hour before your appt to test for gestational diabetes. Let's hope they got a good reading, because I ended up throwing half of it up! Yuck- even with plugging my nose the entire time, I just gagged through the entire thing... I hate that stuff...
So I am now 27 weeks and I weighed in at 114 lbs. today.
I started my pregnancy at 102 lbs. So, I've gained a total of 12 pounds so far ;)
Not too bad...My belly measured 28 cm. I'm measuring about the same as I did with Reed, so the doc is guessing around an 8 pound baby again. Reed was 7 lbs 12 oz. My guess on this one may be around 7 lbs 15 oz? Let's see if i'm close. My doctor scheduled the C-Section date today for Wednesday Decemeber 7, 2011 at 7:30 am. Check in at the hospital at 5:30 am. EARLY! But, that's ok, because I have to fast from midnight on the night before, so I won't have to fast all day like I did with Reed. His surgery was at 5:30 pm last time and from being put under, I was SOOO tired the rest of the night, I couldn't keep my eyes open. Let's hope I'm a little more awake this time, knowing that it'll still be morning (not night) when I have my baby and visitors/family will get to see the baby. We still call him baby boy #2 or Reed #2 for now, because I still have no name for this little guy...
So it'll be exciting to have a baby on 12/7/11. I know I said I wanted the 8th to keep the trend since Reed was June 8, but Dr. Tutt insisted on the 7th, and it has more of a rhyming tone to it anyway-12/7/11. There-it's done. If everything goes as plans, we will see this little boy in only 12 more weeks!!!
