Hip Hip Hooray! Reed is ONE!!! And I'm 26 !

The theme:  Super Reeders!  He loves the show "Super Why" on PBS and so I decided to make it a super party.  I made capes for the kids (that was a hit!) and super suckers for their party favors.  The little ones swam in the kiddie pool, ran in the sprinkler, we all ate lunch, opened presents and watched Reed eat his very first piece of cake! (Which he really didn't eat at all...)  Tempestt made him the CUTEST Super Why cake and the first thing he did, was pull off Wyatt's hair!  Add a mustache and it turned into Super Stavi!  Haha-it looked just like Grandpa (my dad)!  It was a great turn out and a ton of fun.  Reed's favorite gift was from Nicki and Jayson-the QUAD!   He LOVED that thing!  He's even practicing some new tricks already-going to be just like daddy!

Now that he is one:  HE WALKS!!! We left for a week the day after his party for California and came back yesterday and he is a walking toddler!  I can't believe it! He started walking on my birthday (June 5th) 3 days before his first birthday!  He's talking his own language all the time.  He screams like a girl-has tantrums when he doesn't get his way.  He LOVES to be outside and in the water!  He sneaks up on you and growls like a monster.  He is so smart.  He loves to push any kind of buttons whether it be on a phone, remote or toy.  Today he came walking into the office and had a huge smile on his face.  I asked him, "did you finish your bottle?" and he said, "Uh huh!"  Then I asked again, "are you sure you finished your whole bottle??"  Again, "Uh huh!"  So I said, "Ok, let's go see."  He took my finger and led me into the living room and sure enough his bottle was empty.  He drank the entire thing.  I told him, "Wow, you really did drink your bottle."  He ended with another, "Uh huh!"  Haha love it!  He is changing so much now!  He is such a dancer/head banger.  Anytime he hears music with a beat, he starts jumping up and down, waves his arms and nods is head.  Especially in his carseat-head bangs like crazy!  He's in the big boy carseat now, front facing- has been for several weeks.

 ("Our" Birthday Dessert)  My birthday was Sunday spent packing for California and having a nice, fancy set sit down dinner at my parent's house :)
