This weekend was redneck heaven and I enjoyed every bit of it! Reed did too-August, not so much...city boy. Ha! We went to the QC Rodeo Friday night with my brother and sister and some of their friends. We saw the bull riders, barrel racers, and rodeo clowns. Ate tons of yummy (but so bad for you) food; Indian fry bread, french fries, bbq pork, kettle corn, root beer float...yum! Reed LOVED the horses! He was entertained the entire night and couldn't keep his eyes off those fast moving animals! Rodeos are always fun. Reed and I went back Saturday with my friend Aubrey and her baby Molly. We went to lunch first at El Rico's (yummy Mexican food in QC) and then off to the rodeo grounds to see more animals. We met up with the McBrides (Caleb and Shelly) and took a couple pics with their cute kiddos. We just walked around and looked at the horses, goats, sheep, lawn mower races, etc. It was a little hot and very windy, so the babies weren't into it. We lasted an hour and then went on our way. I rushed home for the Young Women's Broadcast (wonderful by the way) and then to a couple's dinner at some friend's in our ward.
August and I got pulled out of Sunday School today to sub the 7 year olds. I gave a last minute on the spot lesson about Baptismal Covenants. Then off to my parents for dinner and scorpion hunting! Burned 4 tonight...the other night it was 40. This upcoming weekend is General Conference and August's Birthday! Have a wonderful rest of March everyone! Time is flying!
