Even though it's not summer yet, it sure did feel like it today. It's the middle of March and is 90`. So I think that calls for a day in the pool! Yesterday, I bought our first "kiddie" pool so that Reed can play and I can lay out. I was so excited to try Reed's new little Hurley board shorts and black rash guard I bought him. (Once Upon a Child is awesome! ;) ) Reed would rather stay out of the cold water and just touch it with his hands. It was his nap time however when I decided to put him in. He was not into it, so I put him inside for a nap and I laid out by myself for a good hour and a half. So relaxing! And hot... Now I'm blogging and Reed is watching a movie (Megamind-his new fav) in just a t-shirt and diaper (no pants). Love it! Reminds me of my youth in the summer days. Getting out of the pool and coming back and laying in front of the tv for a movie and staying in my swimming suit the entire rest of the day :) Well, I better check on little Reeders. He has poops right now, so I know he's not crawling away too far. He stays still and quiet when he has poops. It's pretty funny. This morning before I put water in the pool, Reed climbed in and out of it. I'm going to have to watch him every moment and keep the doors locked-or just dump the water every time too. Oh, and last night he stood up in the tub and stood there for about 7 seconds all on his own without holding anything! Sorry-random thoughts...
I forgot to post last week about my hike! I went hiking for the first time in 10+ years and it was a blast. I went with my cousin Charlcie, sister Brittney and aunts Carrie and Renee. We hiked up the back side of Superstition Mountain. Not too steep of a hike (yey!) but just long enough (4-5 miles) to get a workout. The weather was perfect- ok maybe too windy, but still nice. I want to definitely go again before it gets too hot!
