Christmas Card Sneak Peak - Reed is 6 months!

I just wanted to post some cute pics that I almost forgot about.  This month we have visited Kara's new baby Scarlett (who by the way is a doll!).  Reed's been helping grandpa mash the potatoes on Sundays.  We have visited our grandparents.  And we did a little photo shoot (last min) in the orchard for our Christmas cards.  A little difficult being that we had 30 min before the sun set.  We set up the tripod and set the timer and kept running to and fro. Ha!  This is the first year we have done a card and it will be an annual thing from now on.  It's much more fun when you have kids.  So far our December has been filled with visiting family and new babies.  Bryce leaves on his mission this Wednesday (Dec. 15) so we had a last Sunday dinner and Christmas party for him yesterday.  More pictures of that on the next post!  Reed is now 6 months! I have a half year old! I can't believe it.  Reed's 6 month stats:

Height: 27 1/2 in (80%)

Weight: 17 lbs 4 oz (45%)

Head circ: 17 (30%)

So, ya.  This month Reed neither grew in height or weight- which is why his stats dropped a bit.  The doc said he just sort of grew, grew, grew, then stopped and leveled off this month.  It's ok though- he's still healthy.  Well, I better get to wrapping presents.  Christmas is almost here!  Oh and he loves GG's Christmas train around her tree.  It's amazing he doesn't try to grab it, just look!

Oh and Friday night was August's work StoneCreek Christmas Party at Rustler's Roost.  Reed met Santa for the first time and got to sit on his lap! (sorry so blurry- pics are from the phone)

 

Oh funny story- we were driving out to Glendale on Saturday to visit the Barnes.  We stopped at Gma June's first and she gave Reed a Christmas squirrel toy.  It was awfully quiet in the back seat.  I looked back there and found that Reed had chewed up the tag from the toy and had bits of paper all over his little face.  It was so funny and he had the look on his face like, "shoot, I'm in trouble."

Oh and Reed got his first lollipop from Grandma! Ya- what a mess! He loved that thing- he would throw a fit if we took it away- we gave it back and I said I was going to take it away again and he would just squeeze it and cry and almost growl at me! Crazy kid...oh and he does throw tantrums alot now when he doesn't get his way- I have a 6 month old going on 2! Ha-weird but he even says "uh huh" sometimes when I ask him if he wants to do something...I swear! He does say it!  He's a smart one
