Reed is growing up!

I can't believe he is already 4 months old.  I keep saying it over and over but it's true- they grow up SO FAST!  He goes to his 4 month check up this Thursday, so I'll post his stats.  I bet he's about 16 lbs already! Lately he's got a schedule down pretty much to the t.  He eats about four times a day- once around 8:00- 8:30 ish, noonish, 4 ish and again between 7- 7:30 pm.  That's usually his last bottle for the night and then he is out for the count at about 9:30pm every night.  He sleeps through the night now and wakes up anywhere between 7:00 and 8:00 am.  Every now and then he'll wake up around 5 or 6 am and want his binkie.  I pop it in and he goes right back to sleep.  Love it!  He's such a good sleeper.  Although the past two nights have been tough.  I think he's starting to have night terrors! He woke up screaming bloody murder at 1:00 in the morning the other night.  Scared August and I half to death! August jumped out of bed and ran to his room to check on him.  He had tears streaming down his face.  We picked him up, he calmed down and then fell right back asleep as if nothing ever happened... weird.  And these screams are not like a normal cry if he's hungry or whatnot.  These are terrible screams like he's in agonizing pain.  It's awful.  I hope he stops doing it because it scares me so bad to be woken up to that.  He's starting to get spoiled too.  He knows that I want to sleep in, so if he wakes up around 6:00 am, I bring him in bed with me and snuggle.  He loves it- He purposely wakes up when August leaves just to come take his place in my bed ;)

He gets really hyper right before bed time.  Last night, August got him laughing and giggling so much- it was hilarious.  He loves to play "airplane".  We fly him above our heads and he "crash lands" with grandpa.  My dad shimmers him down to ground as if he were crashing just to watch his fat cheeks jiggle.  Ha ha

He also loves his new "space ship."  At least that's what this bouncer looks like.  It's huge! But he loves to lick all the attached toys.  He's starting the stage of putting everything in his mouth...

He rolls a ton now.  Saturday morning August and I were shocked to wake up and notice that Reed slept the entire night without having us give him his binkie.  We checked on him and he was rolled over sleeping on his tummy.  He slept in til 8:30 that morning.  Crazy kid.  We love him!
