36 weeks

So, I am now almost 37 weeks this coming Monday! I only have 2 weeks and 3 days left before Reed comes! (17 days, the count down is on!!!) It is so crazy! I'm so nervous to be a mom, but yet so ready at the same time.  I've been reading how to bathe him, feed him, nap time, etc.  I read too much on stuff like that, but I hope I can be prepared.  I love him already and can't wait to meet him.  We especially are very curious at what he will look like! Will he look more like August? Or have big brown eyes like mine? What do you guys think?  Charlcie, Haleigh, August and I went out and took maternity pics last Monday.  It was a really windy day, but I think we captured a few good pics.  Here are some that August took.  Look for more on Charlcie's facebook later.  I went to lay out yesterday at my mom's and I had a bikini on, showing my HUGE bare belly.  I know it's huge right now- my mom thinks it was the size of hers with the twins! Thanks mom! lol. It might just be... The doc upped his guess to an 8+ pounder now.  Reed might just be a big baby!

And call me "Elphie" from now on since my feet constantly look like elephants.  They hurt, look embarrassing but it's all worth it, right moms?

oh my gosh, your poor feet! I will tell you what I told jennifer and what my nurse told me. Take a bath in your tub and put in enough water so that the water is above your heart. You can also go swimming. This will help with the swelling.

I'm so excited for you and August. It definitely helps to be reading those books, but remember to follow your instincts as well. If you want another book to read I used "Baby Sleep Solution" it as super helpful. Whitman was sleeping through the night 8 pm-8 am by the time he was 2 1/2 months. Now he sleeps more from 8-7, which is still 11 hours!

Let me know if there is anything I can do to help you guys out.
