We were twins and did not plan this ...lolI got tagged...so here it goes...
1. Have you started your Christmas shopping? YES- done a couple weeks ago.
2. Tell me about one of your special traditions: Every year we drive around looking at Christmas lights, we open 1 gift Christmas Eve, and I can't think of any others at this moment but I'm sure there are more...
3. When do you put up your tree? The weekend of Thanksgiving. August does such a good job decorating it for me!
4. Are you a Black Friday shopper? Yes. I'll never forget the one year in high school when Nicki had her black Lincoln and we got up at like 4 in the morning to shop and we turned onto the icy on ramp onto the 60 and fishtailed the whole way down. We use to get up every year to go to Beyond Image back in the day...Fun times...
5. Do you travel at Christmas or stay home? Stay home- but make the family rounds.
6. What is your funniest Christmas memory? I loved when us kids surprised my mom with a new puppy (Candy- her old pug). We already had Bandit at the time. I hid the puppy at Carrie's a couple nights and then brought it home Christmas Eve. Jason and I took turns sleeping with this puppy all night in the basement bathroom to hide it from my mom. We wrapped it up the next morning and hid it in the corner behind the piano. Christmas morning came and we hear these little puppy wimpers. My mom came in and was like, "Bandit? Bandit? Is Bandit in here???" We all started laughing and the puppy came running out with a "Candy" cane around her neck! My mom screamed! "Oh a puppy!!!!" That was the funniest and best Christmas ever!
7. What is your favorite Christmas movie of all time? I like both the Grinch (Jim Carrey) and A Christmas Story- oh Ralphie.
8. Do you do your own Christmas baking? Some years- this year no-too busy.
9. Fake or real tree? Growing up we always had real trees. Now fake- much easier.
10. What day does the actual panic set in to get it all done? Christmas Eve- my dad always takes me out Christmas Eve EVERY year to pick something out for my mom!
11. Are you still wrapping presents on Christmas Eve? Sometimes...
12. What is your favorite family fun time at Christmas? Having all the get togethers and opening presents all day long. I love to end the evening watching Grandma and Grandpa Evans open all their "Red" gifts. They love Red.
13. What Christmas Craft do you like the best? Um...any Christmas day count downs.
14. Christmas music? Yes. Love it!
