I am getting old! This weekend was a blast hanging out with my hubby and cousins in Newport/Hunnington Beach all weekend. Thursday night August and I drove up to Newport. Friday morning we started the day off right away at my favorite surf shop Jack's. Lots of fun shopping- sandals and shirts. Then off to eat at Chronic Tacos- yummy tacos.
Can you believe these "Jean Look-a likes" are Boardshorts??? Weirdest things ever- it tricked all of us. That afternoon at the beach, we all got together for a round of Bacci Ball on the beach- so fun!
That evening we had yummy smores at Hunnington beach. 
Then off to Joe's Crab Shack for my B-day dinner. The waiter made me sing Happy Birthday to myself in front of the ENTIRE RESTAURANT. How embarrassing.
The next day we went shopping at Hunnington and ate at this excellent Mexican place Fred's. The food was the best! My new favorite. I loved their chicken tacos and chips and salsa. The chips had a nice flavored chipotle powder sprinkled on them that tasted so good!

And the last day before we left home, we had to stop and get our doughnut holes, corn dogs and pizza from the boardwalk in Newport. Yes, I gained 4 lbs this weekend. Yikes! back to P90X soon...And here is Tempestt and I singing and then everyone singing to me.

Fun! Wish we could have been there! I have that same zebra jacket as nicki. How funny. I'm glad you got to have fun celebrating your birthday, and I was able to call you instead of my aunt melissa :)

Ah how fun! Such a neat thing you can still all get together! Happy Belated Birthday, I was out of town or would have wished it earlier. On a plus note, still too young to rent a car.
PS- I saw this girl on what not to wear on TLC who was 4'9". It was so funny that she looked so little girl like. I thought- melissa never dressed like that!

Looks like a really fun birthday weekend! I'm sad girls night was cancelled. We really need to just plan something and stick with it no matter what!! We haven't hung out in forever!

Hey ! I was in Cali too! We drove to my mom's house friday, the day after my Bday! And had my bday weekend there too. My mom lives in the OC, so we were @ HB most of the time and Laguna. BUt we stayed for a week. And got back last night!! Love freds, and next time you go you should try Sugar shack on main st. It has way yummy breakfast. Happy belated! And I dont want to hear old! Im 28 now sista!! :(
How fun Meliss.... sorry I didn't even say happy birthday. Bad friend! Anyways, if you want to come see baby at hospital you are more than welcome. Maybe on your day off... I get bored during the day:) Love you!
