As some of you already know my friends Caleb & Shelley McBride started their sweet family a few months ago back in September. Much to their surprise, their little girl "Ellery" came 35 weeks premature. She was diagnosed as having a chromosome deletion in her 9th chromosome resulting in a congeital heart defect called Tetraology of Fallot. They have had MANY trials, and have been in and out of the hostpital since the day Ellery was born. My friend Cami has been so kind, and has made a blog with their "story" on it. Because she has been in the hostpital for most of her fragile life, she has had to lay flat and is unable to lift her head. This resulting in her head to significantly flatten out. I am trying to get the word out so they can raise enough money to get Ellery a little helmet to reshape her head. So spread the word everyone please and thank you! If you can be so kind as to donate to this fund, anything will be appreciated. They have an account set up at Bank of America under "Ellery K. McBride benefit account," No account number needed. You can go to any Bank of America to donate.
We will be holding a fundraiser to raise money for the Mcbride family, @ Habit salon (where my sister Kelsey works) on Saturday June 6th. MARK YOUR CALENDERS! (NW corner of Val Vista and Southern, next to Name Brand Exchange) So please let me know if you are interested!!! :) (We will be doing haircuts, $35!!!) I seriously started crying when i went on that blog and saw those pictures of that poor baby all hooked up in the hospital! I put that link on my blog too!

Hey Melissa, if you go to my blog and click on Keisa or Chris and Heidi, you will read touching stories. Heidi is one of my best friends and her baby passed away, but I have a few other friends who have had babies who have survived, and she is in touch with many mom's who are going through the same thing. They have a wonderful support system of mothers w/ heart babies. My thoughts and prayers are with your friends. I saw what my bf had to go through, and it was difficult. If your friend would like to talk to Heidi or anything other heart mom's let me know, and I will give you her number. The Lord is in control, and they need to continue to be pray, have faith, and have hope.
