The Holidays are here!

I love Thanksgiving time and the day after- It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!  :)
We had a fun food filled Thanksgiving at my parent's house and then to a nice restaurant that night with August's family.  I am so grateful for family, friends, church and many blessings!

Today I got up early to go shopping.  It's our tradition.  However, Kara, Nicki and I did not get up extra early this year.  We are usually the crazy ones that get up at like 4 in the morning to shop- this year, I started around 8:30 am.  I'm just not really looking for stuff this year, nothing I have in mind.  And there were not that great of sales either.  I just want a puppy for Christmas...hint hint August.  He says I can have a baby but that's not happening so give me a puppy for now!  :)   I want either a Shiba Inu or a Pomeranian.  Anyways.  Happy Thanksgiving!

That is a great picture of your family! Reuben and I have always said that we were glad that we got a dog before we had a kid. It would be too crazy to try to train a puppy and have a little kid. Also Our kids will have a dog that they can love and they won't be afraid of dogs at other peoples houses.

That's true! Ya the picture turned out cute except Jason is talking or something and my mom covered my dad- oh well- it's the best one we got. :)

Shiba Inu's are the absolute best. I have one and my parent's have one. They are seriously my favorite dogs and they don't bark! They don't shed, only blow their whole coat 2x a year!

The one I have at my house, she's a girl at she's about 7 and she does great with Vincent (who's almost 3). My parent's shiba really tends to like my dad a lot but gets along with everyone. They're real quiet dogs and will go off by themselves a lot, like they aren't jumpy or bother you really. I have a cinnamon one (the reddish brown color) and my parents have the black and tan one.
