Monday (June 23) Lladro time- took the tour of the Lladro factory- we learned how they make each piece and paint by hand- everyone is different-not one the same. Every flower is handmade individually rolled pedals and all. It was really interesting. It was started by the 3 Lladro brothers, Jaun, Jose and Vicente. These are the really expensive porclain sculptures ranging from $100-225,000. The people working there have worked for 35 + years making everything.
Lunch time- Kebab (Aladdin food again). These were chicken in pitas and very very messy! Soory- kinda looks like throw up a little…You like the concrete park we ate in? lol
Road trip to Madrid, get us out of the car to stretch at the gas station! Fun times
We finally made it to Madrid- these are pics of the Madrid Temple at about 10 pm. We ran into some Missionaires Jason new. This couple missionaries (the Lunts) are Larry Lunt's cousins and Gordon Bluth's uncle.
This is at about 1:00 in the morning still in Madrid. It started pouring rain and lightning everywhere. The top pic looks like day time because I took it right as the lightning struck- that's why it's so bright! Cool huh. Then we drove to San Sabastian Spain (border of France) that night, but we got real tired about 3:00 in the morning and finally pulled off the side of the road and slept in the car! Man- worst night ever- so uncomfortable...then we were off again as soon as the sun came up.

holy lots of posts! I love them. I want to go to Spain and all over Europe. I got my haircut by Kelsey's roommate Tiffany on Monday (my mother in law got me a gift certificate to XS salon) It was so funny because she asked if I knew a Will. I told her it was my brother in law. She said she knew him through Kelsey. It is a small world.
It looks like you guys are having so much fun! I feel your pain about the whole food thing. Everytime Joey and I go to Spain I feel like I'm gonna starve to death. If you can find a TGIF somewhere, they have pretty decent food. But NOWHERE sells good soda with ice.. it's a real trial, huh? Enjoy the rest of your trip!

Maybe we can meet at Gecko sometime and have a triple date with them- we'll hook them up. I will get you her number later- Megan- Kelsey wants to know if you liked your haircut? That is a small world. Alisa- I have not seen a TGIF but if I do-we'll go! :)
