Queen Valley "All Day" Trail Ride

Well it was a long day.  We packed up and headed out to Queen Valley(East of Superstition Mountains) to go driving up in the mountains.  On the way there traffic was at a dead stop in Gold Canyon due to a golf tournament and it was the last weekend for the renaissance festival.  So it took twice as long to get out there.
Once we unloaded and got on the trails it was a blast!  We went out with Melissa's parents (Mary and David), grandparents (Dick and Helen) and a bunch of David's Cousins.
Through out the entire trip we got to cross a ton of streams, climb straight up mountains and down through switch backs.  It was crazy, it was about a 20 degree difference from the bottom to the tops of the mountains.
David and Mary even thought it would be fun to go down the hills with no hands!
We also took a couple of breaks along the way to either wait for Melissa's grandparents, take some pictures or to stop and have some lunch.
Here is all of our mugs after feeding our mouths, but I'm not sure if David was feeling good back there or not. j/k
Mary decided to take over the wheel and drive the ranger.  Melissa and I had already gone through the tunnel and were trying to climb up a steep hill and got stuck, well all the sudden we hear Mary scream (thinking it was about us).  We back down to get a better run at it and when we looked back we see Mary and Divid flipped over inside the tunnel.
I stop and jumped out to help flip the ranger back over.  Mary was only wearing sandals and had put her foot out to try and stop the ranger from flipping, but after we got the ranger out of the tunnel her foot swelled up pretty good.  She said she didn't think it was broken but... it was super puffy.

After a long day we headed back for the trucks and David decided that he was a freeman after all of this.  I had a blast and can't wait to go back there again.

Looks like fun we really will have to go out with you guys more often. Melissa told me about Mary flipping that so funny. I would love to see them hanging from their seat all seatbelted in. Funny.
